Who We Are

About Rust Nation

Rust Nation is a US-based Rust game server focused on PVE — player versus environment — rather than player versus player. It was built for people who love Rust's survival loop, base building, and progression, but want to do it in a community that isn't hostile by default.

The server is run by a single admin, Tux, who plays regularly and is reachable on Discord. There are no pay-to-win packages, no favoritism, and no tolerance for toxic behavior. If you break a rule you get banned; if you have a problem you can actually talk to the person who runs the server.

It's a small community, intentionally. If you spend a few wipes here, people will know your name.

What Makes It Different

Most Rust servers are either vanilla PVP — brutal and often uninviting for newer players — or modded PVP with so many kits and plugins that the base game is unrecognizable. Rust Nation sits in a different spot: it keeps Rust's core mechanics intact, adds quality-of-life mods that make progression feel rewarding, and removes the part where strangers destroy two weeks of work in sixty seconds.

10x gather rates mean you can build a meaningful base in an evening, not a week. Resources are abundant, which shifts the focus from grinding to building, exploring, and working through PVE content.

Monthly wipes keep the map fresh and the economy balanced. Everyone starts from the same point every month, so a newcomer in week one of the wipe has a real shot at getting established.

No raiding other players means your base is yours. Raid protection is enforced — you build, you keep it.

Plugins & Features

Raidable Bases
AI-defended bases scattered across the map that you can raid for loot. Four difficulty tiers — Easy, Medium, Hard, and Elite — with better rewards as difficulty increases. Solo or team up.
Skill Tree
Earn XP from gathering, crafting, and killing NPCs, then spend points in a skill tree that unlocks passive bonuses — faster crafting, more loot, better gathering, and more. Progress persists through the wipe cycle.
Bradley & Heli Events
Regular Bradley APC and Patrol Helicopter events offer high-tier loot for players who can bring them down. Group up for better odds on the hardest events.
Cargo Ship & Oil Rig
The Cargo Ship and both Oil Rigs run on regular schedules. Clear the NPC guards and claim the crates — some of the best loot in the game lives here.
Supply Drops
Air drops spawn regularly across the map with randomized high-value loot. Watch the sky and move fast — NPC competition spawns nearby.
Leaderboard & Points
Every NPC kill, loot container, and headshot earns you points. See where you rank against the rest of the server on the live leaderboard — updated every hour.

The Community

The Discord is the hub. Wipe announcements, event alerts, map links, and general chatter all happen there. It's also where you'll find Tux if you need help with anything.

New players are welcome regardless of experience level. If you've never played Rust before, PVE is a much more forgiving place to learn the game. If you're a veteran looking for a low-stress server to build on between more competitive play, this works for that too.

There's no application process. Connect, introduce yourself in Discord if you want, and play.
